Refurbish old furniture, such as chest of draws that can be painted all colours. for example we have painted our wooden draws white.
A simple tip is to change the handles on draws/cupboards. It really makes them look lively and expensive. You can buy them on ebay or any DIY store near you.
Another cheap way to enhance your home is buy making your walls look lively. Transfers are a great way to put your own style up. They are really easy to apply and take seconds. You can buy them for cheap on Etsy or ebay.
You can also buy beautiful vintage pictures from retro fairs.
A great way to make a hallway or room look fabulous is by wall papering a wall. It is cheap as you don’t need much. see how fun and vibrant it can make your home look.
Vintage fairs are great for picking up mirrors and even phones, ebay can also be a great place to find things.
We found vintage tea trollies and use them as coffee tables or TV stands. It’s funky, unique and saves money.
If there is a piece of furniture you need why not buy it cheap, ether vintage, retro/used. You can re-cover parts and paint as well. As we have done with our stool.
Finally, a way to make your home look that little bit more amazing is though attention to detail. We have painted skirting boards on cupoards and doors and round rooms.
